DESIGN CONCEPT
House Botha is situated in Greenways Golf Estate, Strand. It was an alterations and additions to an existing house, completed in 2017.
The existing house did not have a specific style and disappeared among the other houses in the street. The client wanted the house to make a statement and have street appeal. The street elevation was completely transformed by changing the window proportions and sizes and by adding elements such as canopies and projections. The entire internal layout was opened up to create an open plan layout, suitable to the clients’ lifestyle.
Our favourite aspect of the house: The new imposing double volume covered porch and entrance.
