DESIGN CONCEPT
House Marji is situated in Schonenberg Estate, Somerset West. It was a new house and completed in 2015.
The clients required a family home that is homely yet sophisticated in the finishing and detailing. Materials such as off shutter concrete and a monochromatic colour palette sets the background for their colourful furniture and accessories. The modern contemporary theme was carried throughout the house with textures and tiled accent walls, particularly in the bathrooms. The main focus was on the open plan Living areas and Kitchen that connects to the outside spaces.
Our favourite aspect of the home: The dramatic curved staircases in the double volume entrance foyer.
